This is the Kappa Chapter Alumni Association of Alpha Phi Omega chartered at Carnegie Mellon University on April 29, 1929. Our purpose is to work with the current Brotherhood to keep the Chapter healthy and to keep Alumni involved with the Fraternity. We plan to hold social events which will allow Alumni to network and form connections with Brothers from other decades, generations, and Pledge Classes.
We do not collect dues at this time, however there will be fundraising opportunities to give as you are able to support the Chapter and other worthwhile causes.
Thank you to those that were able to join us for the Alumni Gatherings at the past Homecoming and Carnival celebrations. The Kappa Chapter Alumni Association Google Group has been started. All Brothers are welcome to join. Hopefully this will help keep us connected. We are planning to have another gathering during Carnival. As we have more information, we will pass it along.
For those planning ahead, we anticipate having several additional gatherings on the Carnegie Mellon campus:
Homecoming: October 23-24, 2026 (Gathering in the afternoon of Saturday the 24th)
Carnival: April 15-17, 2027 (Gathering in the afternoon of Saturday the 17th)
Homecoming 2027 (Dates to be announced)
Carnival 2028: April 6-8, 2028
Chapter Centennial Celebration: April, 2029
